A study in pink

Four plants. One palette. Infinite softness with a little edge.

A Study in Pink explores the tension between bold structure and gentle hues. Each piece in this four-part series is set against a tiled pink background—lush, textured, and just a little playful.

Each painting features a distinct plant—peace lily, monstera, Chinese money plant, and aloe—set against a carefully constructed pink tiled backdrop.

Rendered in richly textured heavy body acrylic, the series invites a dialogue between the organic and the structured, the vibrant and the serene. The tiled backgrounds serve as both aesthetic anchor and visual rhythm, allowing each plant’s unique character to emerge in contrast and cohesion.

This collection reflects my ongoing fascination with color as emotional language—here, pink becomes more than a palette. It becomes a framework for presence, softness, and quiet strength.

Each piece stands individually, yet together they form a cohesive statement on form, tone, and the subtle power of simplicity.
